wagamama’s fundraising girly night
the cancer council event, ‘girls night in’, runs throughout october and wagamama is proudly sponsoring this national charity event to help raise funds to conduct research and provide support for breast and gynaecological cancers
‘girls night in’ launched in 2005 and managed to raise close to $1,000,000 in its first year. the event encourages female friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to get together for a night of fun that raises money for the charity
wagamama is supporting the cancer council in 2006 by hosting official girls night in events in selected* restaurants on 17th october and is aiming to raise over $15,000.
participating guests will be pampered with a glass of wine on arrival, a delicious wagamama meal, a complimentary massage from 3 minute angels and a makeover from mac**, along with a complimentary meal voucher to use on their next wagamama visit
“we are thrilled to be involved in supporting such a worthwhile cause. our girls night in events have been extremely well-received by customers and tickets sold out within the first week. all proceeds of the evening will be donated to the cancer council,” commented emma seibold
throughout the month of october, wagamama fans and girls night in hosts are also encouraged to gather a bunch of friends together and host a girls night in dinner party in any wagamama restaurant. wagamama will donate $10 per person to the ‘girls night in’ fundraising appeal (minimum 10 persons with a $30 set menu)
or for those who want to host an event at home, party@home catering packs will be created and can be pre-ordered from venues

**mac makeovers offered at king street wharf and bridge street in sydney, qv in melbourne, fortitude valley in brisbane and subiaco in perth. 3 minute angels will appear at all venues
