wagamama continues its impressive growth in australia with the international noodle chain announcing plans to open a second brisbane restaurant at the stunning new up-market dining precinct at westfield chermside on 25th october
details have also been announced for a third outlet at queen street mall in january, in an aggressive expansion strategy which will see their portfolio of restaurants increase to a total of 13 by the end of the year

wagamama’s chief noodle, mark rowland, says the decision to increase expansion in brisbane was strongly influenced by the success of its emporium fortitude valley location and a demand from wagamama fans in the north of the city

“we felt it was time to open another location in brisbane to offer residents on the north side of the city the ultimate wagamama experience” says rowland. “we believe wagamama westfield chermside will be an instant hit with families, local offices and shoppers looking for a fast, fresh and affordable lunch or dinner option”

the contemporary and sleek wagamama westfield chermside will boast a menu which includes a mouthwatering mixture of noodles, rice dishes, salads and freshly squeezed juices and will cater to a wide spectrum of diners with a variety of vegan, gluten free, low carb and low fat dishes available

wagamama australia launched as a licensed operation in 2002 and currently operates eleven restaurants in sydney, melbourne, brisbane, perth and central coast with over 300 team members. turnover exceeds $20 million after just over four years of operation and the noodle bar aims to develop a further five outlets a year nationally as well as looking overseas

the chermside restaurant is located in the parkland pavilion area at westfield on the corner of gympie and hamilton road. restaurant design offers both indoor and outdoor seating and will seat 160 guests
